Windows 10: Pictures do not print properly

Greetings Everyone


I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem that just appeared and I cannot seem to fix. On Friday, when printing multiple pictures, the print outs just changed from a full image to only part of the image. Usually top and bottom sections and no middle or just the top section and just the bottom on multiple. I've run cleanups, reset the printer, reinstalled the printer and still no change. One moment the printer was printing fine and the next, like not even a minute later, it isn't. When using the photos app, the images print fine however there doesn't seem to be an option to print multiple pictures per page.


Apart from reinstalling the computer, which is due in any event, what else can be done to rectify this problem? Below are scans of the pages which show the problem that I'm experiencing.

Pictures won't print

Hello,

To print a photo, you may use the Photos app. Follow these steps:

• Open the Photos app and then click on the picture.
• Click the 3 dots icon and then choose Print.

Windows 10 printing issue while printing picture from Document files.

• When you say that "I cannot print a picture from my Documents file", are you trying to print a picture present in a word document file or trying to print a picture on Windows 10?

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.
