Pin File Explorer to Taskbar -- Multiple Monitor Situation

When I use the normal "Pin to Taskbar" process, the File Explorer shortcut icon appears on the taskbars of only two of my three monitors. All other taskbar icons (shortcuts, running programs, etc.) appear on all three monitors. I would appreciate knowing how to get the missing icon on the third monitor, as that's the one I use most.

    :)

pin multiple file explorer icons to taskbar

I have created on the desktop (2 monitors) multiple file explorer shortcuts, each with its identifying icon. This to provide quick access to my different work areas. Unfortunately, the desktop becomes filled, so hiding the icons.

    1. when I try to pin these onto the taskbar, this is not allowed - a red no entry circle.

    2. When I try to change the taskbar properties, there does not seem to be an option not to combine buttons, but to hide labels.

So, how do I pin multiple file explorer icons permanently onto the taskbar?

    Hi Horie,

You will be able to view multiple pinned icons by scrolling down the taskbar on the computer desktop.

Before we assist further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

    • Are you facing similar issue on performing
      Pin to taskbar
      ?
    • Are the icons not displaying on the taskbar?

Check if similar issue persists on trying to pin the icons by right clicking on the file and selecting
Pin to taskbar option from the context menu.

Write to us with the answers to the above questions and the status of not able to pin file explorer icons on the computer in the same post
