Discus and support PIN history for security - someone trying to access. Time/date? in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; My Windows pin has been locking me out lately when I sign in.     PIN history for security - someone trying to access. Time/date?


    My Windows pin has been locking me out lately when I sign in. It's only happened 2x, but the error message is that someone has been trying the wrong pin too many times. I'm at work, I do have private - to the business- information on my machine.I think if I know when the pin was incorrectly accessed, I could find out who might be doing this. At night, etc.I have looked, and even called our tech guy, but have not been able to find a pin history with time and date.Is there one? Thanks much, Anita

    File history on USB security user access

    Hi,

    To isolate this concern, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Open File History folder.
    • Select all the files that you don't want to be accessed.
    • Right-click on the highlighted files and choose Properties.
    • Go to Security tab.
    • Click on Advanced.
    • Select all the user account that you don't want to have access on your File History folder.
    • Click on Disable inheritance.
    • Lastly, click on OK.

    Pin NY Times to Windows 10 Start

    Hi,

    Thank you for responding.

    Do let us know the following to assist you better:

    • Are you referring to NY Times application?
    • How are you accessing NY times (Via online or via App)?
    • What exactly happens when you try to perform the above mentioned steps to pin application to Start?

    I suggest you to refer to the below article about Pin applications to Start menu and check if it helps.

    Clear Windows Security Center (Defender) Protection History

    Did not work for me. After going through all steps I still have protection history full
