  1. Pin Not Working For App Permissions

So whenever I type in my admins parents pin, it says something went wrong, try restarting and the error code is 0x8007139f. I've tried restarting, and it didn't work. Also, if this helps at all, I remember turning my PC on and seeing some sort of BIOS type interface, but I completely forgot what they said, all I know is that it said to press Y to update? I don't really know I forgot. Any solutions will be greatly appreciated. Reminder: I can't access ANY administrative programs, as I need my admins parents pin to access it, and it's not working. Also I'm running Windows 11 32-Bit.https://i

  2. Can't create pin for login. Pin stopped working

    Hi Kevin,

To resolve your concern about creating pin to your computer, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Navigate to C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC (click to get permission when prompted).
    • Delete the contents of that folder (delete everything in that folder, but leave that folder and everything above it).
    • Go back to settings, accounts, sign in options.
    • Your non-working pin will now be gone, and you can just click 'add a pin' and set it again.

Let us know how it goes.

    App Permissions

    Hi Tony,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Some apps require certain permissions to work properly. However, you can change the permissions given to the apps by following the below steps:

    1. Click on Start.
    2. Click on Settings and then click on Privacy.
    3. Under the App Permissions you can change the permissions which are assigned for the apps.

However, you can go through the
    Microsoft Privacy Statement
    .

    Hope it helps.
