  1. PIN require for sign in. PIN not available.

    Hello,

I recently purchased a laptop running Windows 10. During setup I specified a Pin and followed the fingerprint scan process. All was good able to use fingerprint to sign on until the next day when I received the following on a login: “Your pin is required to sign in. Something happened and your pin is not available. Click to setup your pin.”

Clicking to setup a pin sends a code to an old email account I no longer have access to. Changing this email address on my microsoft account takes 30 days. Is there a way to work around this? Note that the signin options includes fingerprint and pin only. There is not a userid/password option and the fingerprint option only takes me back to the original “Your pin is required....” message.

    Thanks

    :)
