Windows 10: Pin

Recently I was forced to reset my computer and reinstall windows, afterwards my acer aspire ES 15 no longer allowed me to set up a pin. I read through some support pages and was unable to find a resolution. At first, selecting the option to add a pin to my account did absolutely nothing. After checking the support page I opted to sign in with a local account and this took me one step further as now a box would appear asking me to enter my Microsoft password before adding a pin. This, however, yielded no further results as upon pressing enter the box closed and again nothing happened. Several attempts later I chose to sign in with my Microsoft account and after logging in on the account setting I was prompted to set a pin only to my chagrin for a new box to pop up saying were sorry something went wrong. This box gave me the option to skip to the next step or try again. After selecting try again many times I was forced to skip this step. Any insight would be extremely helpful as I am reluctant to compromise the security of my Microsoft account by creating a simpler password, yet I grow weary of entering it every time. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar


Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar

I can pin and unpin People contacts to the taskbar without problems, but these contacts will still show up on the "Pin suggested" list. It's this list I want to clear, because some contacts or double and some are dummy contacts. It's not that big of a deal, but it's rather annoying to have them suggested to me.
