Windows 10: pinning to start

During a recent troubleshooting session for sound a Microsoft tech. had me roll back to a couple weeks before to get it back. After this I lost the ability to save apps to my start page. I can still save to taskbar.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.
