  1. Playback of imported video from a videocamera

Can anyone help me with problems I'm encountering with playback of imorted videos on the Photos app on Windows10?

I've imported videos to this app before and not had any problems. However, when I tried to import a video this week, the first problem I encountered when I had downloaded it on to Photos then exported it to a video file, it played back but there was no sound. I went to check the copy still in Photos, and playback wouldn't function. On the video, it clearly states it lasts for 8 minutes, but when I go to play it back, the time length is zero. I tried putting it into video editor to see if I could play it back there but all I got was a black screen.

The videocamera uses AVI files and plays back recordings with audio no problem on the camera playback itself. I've formatted the memory card on the camera but the problem still persists. If anyone can help with this I'd be really grateful. I'm no IT expert so simple instructions would be much appreciated!

    Les
