    PLDS DVD+RW DU-8A5LH - my DVD player on my Windows 10 Dell is not reading videos from DVDs.


    It will read audios from an audio DVD but not videos. What do you recommend?

    my windows 10 computer suddenly does not read blank DVD RWs.

    it reads dvd r and not blank cds.

    my drive can has DVD RW capabilities

    i have tried reinstalling and enabling drivers.

    none of them work

    I have a similar problem. I've bought Windows DVD Player, but it will not recognise the DVD. I've gone through the steps above and the driver is up to date. The software just locks up.

    Running Windows 10 Home, Version 1511, OS Build 10586.545, x64 processor

    on a Dell PC with Dell DVD +/- RW Slot drive via USB
