Windows 10: Please advise on what to do next as family safety account link cannot be deleted?

My daughters family safety account is no longer providing updates to us on any device she is using. I have read that it is worth deleting my daughters link to family safety and recreating it. I have tried to do this, but it tells me that only the person that created the account can delete the child from the family safety area. I am the one that created the accounts, so it should be allowing me to do this.I have pasted the exact message in as can be seen here: You can't remove XXXXX from the family group Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Can you confirm if you are out of the Family Safety feature on your parent's account on this
link? If you've confirmed that you're no longer on the list of monitored child accounts, we suggest deleting the Family Safety folder. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows key + E on your keyboard.
• On the address bar, type this address C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Parental Controls and press
  Enter.
• Delete all contents of the Parental Controls folder.
• Restart and see if the issue is resolved.

I suggest you to remove the child account from family safety, re-add it again and check if the issue is resolved. You may follow the steps below for the same.

1. Remove the child via Family Safety website.

a. Sign in to

b. Click on Manage the list of Family members.

c. Check the child account, then click Delete. Click again on

Now, as an initial recommendation, I suggest you to view and check the family settings for the child by signing in to the Microsoft account using a web browser.

If it still does not help, I suggest you to remove the child account from your Microsoft Family Safety settings and check if it is the Family Safety feature which is preventing the child account to access Office products.
