Windows 10: Please assist with my taskbar calendar problem

Hi,


Since the last update my taskbar calendar in win10 stopped showing appointments.

When I click on the date in the taskbar the calendar pops up and shows today's events but in the monthly overview stopped showing anything. It used to have a colored bar with the name of the event.


I tried resetting the Mail and Calendar app and reinstalling it also through powershell but it doesn't seem to affect the taskbar view of the calendar app.

I searched the answers on here and on google but I really can't find any solution so I'd appreciate any ideas on what to do.

Windows 10 calendar sync problem

At this point, I suggest you to check if it helps to use the web version of the calendar to sync the existing calendar details.

Please follow the below steps.

Step 1: Export Google Calendar

• Click on the the gear button, then navigate to Settings > Calendars > Export calendars.
• It downloads as a zip, so copy the .ics file out.

Step 2: Import or subscribe to a calendar in Outlook.com

• Follow the instructions prescribed in the below Help Article.

Step3: Next, open your calendar app to check if you can see the events which were used in your Google calendar.

how to retreive my calendar on windsow 10 taskbar

Calendar might go missing from the taskbar if it is been unpin.

I suggest you to perform the below steps and check if it helps.

1. Type Calendar in search box next to Start Menu.

2. Then right click on the application icon and click on Pin to Taskbar.

• Are you using a Local Account or a Microsoft Account?
• What is the make and model of your PC?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
• Check if the option for Lock the Taskbar and Auto-hide the taskbar
  are ticked.
• If they are ticked then uncheck the option for Auto-hide the taskbar.

Also, suggest you to update the Display driver by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.
