Windows 10: PLEASE Fix OneNote update issue !!!

It's been several months already that OneNote app for Windows 10 is not working anymore because of an update error of the app who never gets to 100%.


I'm not the only one who have this issue.

There is currently NO SOLUTION to that, and Microsoft doesn't seems to do something about it.


The app cannot update and the app cannot be used anymore because of that.

OneNote won't open

  What is the make and model of your system?
  
• 
  Have you downloaded the app from store?
  

Also install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps. Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing
experience.



I suggest you try restart your Computer and try to open your OneNote . if issue still persists, I kindly suggest you to follow the steps mentioned by Ruxo in the following thread which discusses about how to uninstall OneNote .

OneNote crashes and other issues

• If you're using OneNote 2016, what is the full version number of your Office. To determine the version of your Office, follow the steps

• Can you please provide us the step-by-step process on how you're attempting to draw in OneNote using the touchscreen?

 

OneNote not syncing on tablet and windows

I'd like to ask what changes have you made prior to this issue. Try reinstalling OneNote on your device.

Also, try following the troubleshooting steps provided on these support articles:

• Fix issues when you can't sync OneNote
• Fix sync issues in OneNote for iOS or Android
