Windows 10: Please suggest how to disable Snip and sketch application

Please suggest how to disable Snip and sketch application.Tried uninstalling it using Powershell but it does not remove it completely - Get-appxpackage *ScreenSketch* remove-appxpackage Using all user pipeline as wellTried disabling the application using registry and after multiple reboots , application still works - https://www.wikihow.com/Block-an-Application-or-.EXE-from-Running-in-Windows#:~:text=You%20can%20block%20a%20program,.exe%20or%20handbrake.exe.Tried using app locker secpol , unsuccessful.Able to disable hotkey S using regedit though unable to disable application SnipandSketch

Sketch and Snip

As we are working as a IT support for the secure project, we need to disable the sketch and snip in windows 10 20h2 as well as in 21h2.

We have tried to add the registry keys for DisabledHotKeys as well as NoWinKeys, and we have turned off the hotkeys from the gpedit.msc.

But it is helping to disable the hotkeys only but not the sketch and snip. There are different ways to open the sketch and snip.

1) If we disabled the hotkeys, we are able to open the sketch and snip from start.

2) We are able to open the sketch and snip from the quick actions which is inside the notification bar.

3) We are able to open the sketch and snip by using the command explorer ms-screenclip:

Please suggest here to disable or remove the sketch and snip completely from the Windows 10.

 

Error Code with Snip & Sketch

I suggest you do a reset of the application.

Here are the steps to follow.

1. To reset Snip & Sketch, press Windows Key + I to open the Settings. Go to Apps.

2. Under Apps & features, find Snip & Sketch and click on Advanced options.

3. Now scroll down and hit the Reset button.

 

Screen flickering while using Snip and Sketch

Step 1: Reset Snip & Sketch app.

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Snip & Sketch
   app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.
   

Step 2: Update display driver.

We would suggest you to update the display driver from Device Manager. Please refer this article to update the driver:
