Windows 10: Plugging charger in causes laptop to lose wifi etc.

So whenever I play my game with the charger plugged in it will run perfectly fine but once I plug it in the screen will turn slightly brighter, game screen freezes and it continuously loses wifi connection.I don’t have the capability to connect to a Ethernet thank you

Wifi stops working when the charger is not plugged in

I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 laptop and the internet stops working when it is not plugged in (Although wifi remains connected). Once the internet has stopped working even plugging in won't bring it back. I have to restart my laptop with the charger
plugged in and only then it starts working. My power setting is on "Maximum Performance". Can anyone suggest something to rectify the issue?

PS - I make a mobile hotspot and connect my laptop to it since I'm travelling and don't have access to wifi.

Edit- Installshield update service scheduler shows up in task manager and when I stop it my net goes off!

 

Laptop goes to sleep mode after plugging in charger

Hello.

I have a ASUS X550C laptop. The original charger broke, so i bought a charger for it at my local market (the brand is "Innergie"), which also works for ASUS laptops. Now since i got this charger, i was experiencing issues where my laptop would randomly go to sleep mode, however, i resolved this issue by turning computer on, removing the charger, and plugging it back in. That seemed to fix it. However, recently, this method stopped working. My computer runs completely fine when it is unplugged, however, when i plug it in, i get a "Low battery" warning (even though i HAD 72% battery), and the laptop immediately goes to sleep mode. Trying to turn it on is useless. It will only turn on if the charger isn't plugged.

Any advice?

PS: I have already changed all my power & sleep options. Everything is set to "Never".

Sounds like some software is optimizing when plugged in. This would draw from your CPU causing a frame rate drop. Some programs are designed to only optimize when the laptop is plugged in.

What security software suit are you running? Can you give a list of non-windows processes when plugged in? Give it about 10 minutes plugged in before gathering the list. This will allow any program optimizations to start and bog the CPU.

I don't think there is anything wrong with his Laptop. This smells of a software issue.
