Windows 10: Pop-up window for wifi login is non-responsive and persistent.

Hello everyone,the Windows Security pop-up for inserting username and pwd for the wifi login doesn't respond to any input either keyboard or trackpadEven if I try to open any other app, this window doesn't go in the background nor disappear.I've tried also to send the computer to sleep and login again, but the pop-up remains in place.The only effective way is to reboot the laptop.I'm using Win11 on Dell-Xps15

Method 1.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your keyboard & mouse. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Method 2.

Try updating the latest keyboard devices from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the Keyboard drivers:

a. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

b. Expand the Keyboard driver.

c. Right-click on the HID Keyboard Device and click on Update driver software.

d. Restart the computer and check.

Windows 11 - calendar, wifi, sound and battery icons non responsive on the task bar

Hi All,

I have recently updated to windows 11 via update in the settings. Post update to windows 11, i have noticed that the icons for calendar, wifi, sound and battery at the bottom right of the task bar are non responsive. i can hover over them and could see the texts above the icons. But i am unable open them to their full view. they are not responding to the mouse clicks.

Please let me know if any one else is facing this issue and it would be extremely helpful if some one could provide a solution.

Edit: I have seen blogs suggesting a solution to run a command via task manager to force restart. i did the steps and unfortunately, the issue persists.

 

Wifi login page won't pop up after update

I recently updated my laptop and now it won't connect to my school's wifi or any public wifi. Whenever I try to connect, it doesn't lead me to the login page, but a page that says I need to login to access the wifi, which is what I am trying to do. The
wifi login page was about to load, but then it's redirected to the page telling me I have to login to access the wifi. I've tried solving the problem, but none of the solutions I have found worked. Any suggestions as to how to make the login page pop up?
