Windows 10: popup that says low disc space

My INSPIRON 11 3000 SERIES keeps telling me dropbox and windows update need more space and I have low disc space. I have a passport that I just received from a friend. How do I, with this machine, add more disc space?

Low Disc space

I keep getting an error message that says "Low Disc Space" on Recovery disc D but this disc and the hard drive space is basically empty. I have about 95% free disc space. I keeps popping up.

Mysterious drive "E" appears with "Low disc space" popup

After a lengthy windows update, I started getting popup notices of low disc space for drive "E". I have never had a drive E. how do I get rid of this annoying infestation on my laptop?
