Windows 10: Portable USB3 monitor ASUS MB16AC no longer connecting to laptop ASUS VivoBook S15

Hi,


I have been able to connect my portable monitor to my laptop in the past without problems. However, I have just tried to connect it for the first time in 2 weeks, and it is no longer working.


When I connect, the ASUS logo shows up on the monitor, but then the following pops up on my window. Clicking on it takes me to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4012609/windows-10-fix-usb-c-problems#connectionlimited




Here is the troubleshooting I have done.

1. Plugged the portable monitor into another device Andriod tablet using the same USB C - USB C cable. Monitor works

2. Plugged the portable monitor into laptop using USB2 - USB C cable. Same problem as above.


Device manager








I've downloaded the drivers again same version as I had installed previously and tried to install them again. Nothing happens.


The only change I can think of is the windows updates I installed on my laptop last week Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909.


Any suggestions?

asus-vivobook-s15-s510ua

this problem is interesting i am sure everyone will be shocked. i am using an asus-vivobook-s15-s510ua and i am getting a serious problem with the Bluetooth,
they only work when the Bluetooth headphones are on top of the laptop at the left-en side of it, when I move them they disconnect. please guys help me i will really appreciate/

Surface Pro 2 does not support ASUS MB16AC Monitor

I am trying to connect my new Asus ZenScreen MB16AC external monitor to my old(ish) SurfacePro 2 (with Windows 10). I am getting a message 'Your device does not support DP Alt mode, please install the latest driver and try again'. I did install the driver
and widget and rebooted the Surface, but the same message appears. The Surface is connected to power source and the battery is 100% charged. Is there anything I can do? Thanks for any suggestion.
