That looks like the stock Intel cooler. You can improve on that with one of those tower coolers making sure it's dimensions don't foul the RAM modules and the gold coloured heatsinks.

80 °C is getting towards a bad position, it actually seems to be clocking down the HD 4600 drastically to protect itself also a bad sign. The iGPU is on the CPU chip.

I have a CPU with HD 4600 on mine, and it's iGPU clock is 1150 MHz, and it's a Laptop not a desktop....
My image is taken under load for the iGPU as you can see, yours I have no idea but it certainly is not under load for the iGPU. The max iGPU clock should be 1200 MHz.

I'm afraid it is obvious it's severely overheating.

I'd agree that the cooling is inadequate. The iGPU being so hot suggests that the CPU is the problem area.

You can add a simple duct made from a plastic 2litre coke bottle to help ensure cooler air is fed to the heatsink.

Always use the least amount of thermal paste on the CPU to ensure the best possible cooling. Too much thermal paste can act as a heat barrier and cause overheating problems.

Maybe this will help with applying Thermal Paste. It's about the application of the paste, not necessarily the brand of paste.

Where do you keep your PC case? I hope not it is next to the oil heater that is standing next to your PC case in the pic.

  6. Oh, no. I just moved it there to take my picture. And besides, I haven't used the heater in half a year. I keep the case under my table a meter away from the heater

Would it be a lot of trouble to open the side of the case and take a few pictures so we can see what's going on? Also, could you turn the computer off and put your hand on the CPU cooler and just put moderate pressure on it and see if it moves any?

I may have missed it, but what CPU cooler are you using?

Fans in the front of the case blowing cooler air into the case.

    Also,
Please fill out your System Specs

Information Your System Specs will help us to help you, and doing it in this manner will make them available to all helpers in every post and keep us from hunting for them. We ask that you fill them out in as much detail as possible including Desktop or Laptop, Model number if it is an OEM computer and all components with the Manufacturer and Model number if possible. If you will go to your last post and click the 'My Computer' in the bottom left of the post, you will find a link to update your system specs. Please fill those out in as much detail as possible, making sure to click save at the bottom of the page. If you would like to know what we would like, you can click 'My Computers' at the bottom left of this post to see mine. If you do not know what your components are, this will help you accomplish this task. System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums

  10. I uploaded pictures. It's at the start of page 2.
I'm not sure what my cooler is. I guess I just got the respective cooler that came with my CPU i5-4670k CPU.
Also, I forgot to mention my case is Kab Fractal Design Define R4 Titanium Grey

You have the stock Intel CPU cooler, which is not the most effective. Your Fractal Design R4 seems to come with 1 140mm Front Intake fan and 1 120mm exhaust fan. It has spots for another intake fan in the front, 1 in the bottom, 2 in the top of the case. Adding fans could make things better for your temps.

If you would like to test, take the side panel off and blow a house fan directly inside the case and see if you get the same temp results.

I use a Fractal Define R5 case, they come with two fans as standard one at the front and one at the back. I actually use 2 at the front and 1 at the back on mine.
This is minor, has little bearing on the basic CPU overheating.

Intel no longer supplies heat sinks with CPUs, I use a much larger/efficient Noctua tower cooler.

The OP maybe trying to overclock and that sort of thing on the standard Intel heatsink which it was not designed for.
With no more detail of CPU temperatures taken under load this is going nowhere.

Helmut, We always appreciate any constructive input. However, The amount of cooler fresh air going into a case does make a difference with temps. And yes, the type of CPU cooler makes a big difference as well. As far as where this is going, we will be the judge of that.
