Windows 10: Possible Scam

My computer froze on Saturday and a warning came up and gave a phone number to call 1-844-856-2754 which I called and spoke to a Roger who told me my computer had been hacked and had a virus. He proceeds to access my computer he told me his was Microsoft technical support and said my microsoft security was expired and that I needed to get the security back on my computer - he said he updated my computer laptop with Windows 10 and I paid for a 2 yr package at $319 - he gave me his phone # 1-825-250-4140 I also spoke to a Jerry at 1-252-221-6193. I am now suspecting that this might not have
