Windows 10: Possible to access data no longer stored in AppData/Local/Temp?

    Possible to access data no longer stored in AppData/Local/Temp?


    A few months ago I downloaded data somewhere and it was stored in C:/Users//AppData/Local/Temp. However it is no longer there as only files up to a few months ago are listed there. Is there any way at all I can access data stored there prior to a few months ago?

    Where does Ovi suite store SMS messages?

    Hi All

    Nokia Ovi Suite stores sms messages in sqlite database, where is located as different path from 'Nokia Data Store' folder. They are located in "C:\Users\UserName\Appdata\Local\Nokia\Nokia Suite\Messages\Database" path on Windows 7. You can access this folder
    with "%userprofile%\Appdata\Local\Nokia\Nokia Suite\Messages\Database" command for Start > Run.

    Message storage file is msg_db.sqlite.



    If you wanna backup all of contents for Nokia Ovi Suite, create copy of '%userprofile%\Appdata\Local\Nokia\' folder completely.

    Unless you made a backup of the data the chances of it's recovery is very small. A utility that recovers deleted files might work but after several months that is doubtful. I have no experience with such.

    All files of any importance should have at least one backup copy while those of particular importance need 2 or more backup copies. Data recovery after data loss cannot be relied on.
