Windows 10: Possible to upgrade this W10 Home laptop to Pro or Enterprise?

I've been asked this by a friend, but I'm not familiar enough with 10 hardware to give him an answer.
He's thinking of purchasing this laptop, but doesn't want 10 Home. It's an Acer Aspire 5 A515-54-749U Laptop 15.6". (The 749U may designate our NZ\AU market)

Question: Is there a major impediment to upgrading from 10Home (ie, chipset\CPU limitation) on this or any other Home laptop,or is it just a matter of purchasing an upgrade key? Acer's driver website doesn't seem to offer drivers beyond 10 Home.

Windows 10 home upgrading to pro or enterprise no possible

I have computer with windows 10 home and need to upgrade it to pro or enterprise to connect it to domain server but it is not possible.

Everytime I try to do that I get this error.

I have valid licences and key for pro and enterprise and can not upgrade.

I'll try my best to help you out on this question.

If I understand well, you were using a W10 HOME, that you upgraded to a W10 PRO, but ended up on a W10 ENTERPRISE.

What the mail invoice state about the version purchased ?

I just checked the Microsoft Store about the upgrade to windows 10 pro, and there is a side button that allow to go to other business edition. Pricing isn't the same, but it is possible.

Is it still possible to upgrade to W10 from W8.1 Pro?

My current laptop is having BSOD issues for the past few weeks. I've thought of trying to fix it (or reinstalling the OS), but then why not just upgrade to W10? I currently have the key that I used to install my current W8.1 Pro. If it's still possible, what would be the steps that I would need to do?
