  1. Possible Trojan: Am I being overly paranoid?

Last night I wanted to move some files to an old usb drive I had sitting around. Little did I know that drive was infected with a worm that Defender picked up and removed. I did a couple of scans after ejecting the drive and it all came back clear. Later that night I did one more scan, and it said that it detected and removed something called "Trojan:Script/Foretype.A!ml" that was located in my appdata folder under local/google/chrome/userdata/shadercache/GPUCache/f_0001d0 and local/google/chrome/userdata/shadercache/GPUCache/f_0001f2. I have since reset all my passwords to be safe and have been performing scans with Defender and Malwarebytes throughout the day, all coming back clear. I want to assume it was a false positive, but considering I insertedthat infected usb earlier, it concerns me that the two detections were possibly linked.

I have never had a virus, let alone a trojan, so I am unsure if I still have reason to worry even though everything is coming back negative. Am I being overly paranoid or was the trojan possibly a false positive?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Possible Trojan: Am I being overly paranoid?

Virus Trojan:32/Wacatac.DC!ml not completely remediated on Windows PC

One more time, looking for help on this. I go through the extensive list of steps above, including running script, adaware, cleaner and emisoft. No problems noted. I make sure the temp file and WD Service files are empty. I shut down the computer. In the morning I start up and a notification says WD has blocked wacatack trojan. The time listed is the time I shut down.

    Anyone?
