Windows 10: Possible virus. Have Defender.

Discus and support Possible virus. Have Defender. in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I have Windows Defender. Lately, I've gotten popup warnings about my computer being infected w/ spyware. Most likely, it is. The messages say I've got...     Possible virus. Have Defender.


    I have Windows Defender. Lately, I've gotten popup warnings about my computer being infected w/ spyware. Most likely, it is. The messages say I've got 3 or 5 viruses. McAfee & Norton have ads offering to wipe out the viruses for a fee. Shouldn't Defender have caught this? Can't reach anyone @ MSFT to troubleshoot. The popups are persistent every time I log on. I bought MS Office 5 yrs ago. Maybe license has expired. Don't know. Any suggestions?

    possible virus?: so this was happening since i think i installed a program called daemon tools lite i believe it's called, i saw it came with other programs so i uninstalled and then defender detected a virus as: PUA:Win32/Puamson i removed it and moved on but ever since apps started crashing...
