    The above will only work at a resolution of 1920 x 1080, If you lower the resolution the size of text, apps & other items automatically reverts back to default.

    Note: Does not work if using VMware player.

    Just for fun, I have the Classic Shell Beta Version 4.2.0 (this is the version that supports Win 10) installed where you have an option to customise the start menu orb. I created an orb for TenForums.

    Classic shell looks so much better that what microsoft is offering i think i will stick with that. I assume those tiles in the start screen can be live tiles also?

    My start can only be so sparse because I hide all links for Programs, websites, etc. in a toolbar.

    I just finished a clean install of my HP Computer after upgrading both of my computers to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 and both Start Menus are almost Identical.

    I'm also back to classic shell. The new start menu looks nice and I really appreciate MS bringing it back. But classic shell one is far more practical plus I can always bring up the Windows start menu if I'd like to.
