    Power Option in windows 10 do not work not screen savers


    Ive tried to activate the Power Options on my laptop since February this year. I have reformatted and reinstalled Windows and even changed the Mother Board on my Laptop but I still have the issue. It appears that others have had similar issues and the problem has not been rectified. I have tried suggestions on here but still have issue. Ive updated drivers and created new profiles and plans nothing works.


    Can someone help please as I need my Laptop to turn off as I can be called away and not get back to it for several hours and its stuck on one screen.

    Screen Saver and Sceen lock

    Hi,

    Regarding your concern, we suggest setting up power options first before setting the screen saver. You may perform these steps:

    • In the search box on the task bar, type Power Options,
      and then select Power Options.
    • Click Change Plan Settings.
    • Change the settings to Never.
    • Select Save changes.
    • Set your screen saver.

    Hi guy's,

    On Windows 7 the screen saver didn't go to a black screen but it showed the desktop. Not getting that with Windows 10. Whats the deal? Have GTX750Ti

    Thank you for using Windows10.

    Let us know what happens exactly when you try to set the screen-saver or put the computer to sleep.

    I would suggest you to review he settings and check. Here is the steps:

    To change Screen Saver:

    • Press Windows/Start key.
    • Type Screen Saver and click on Change Screen Saver.
    • Select the screensaver from the drop down menu and click on Apply.
    • Click on OK.
    To put the computer in sleep:

    • Press Windows/Start key.
    • Type Power and click on Power Options.
    • Select Change when the computer sleeps in the left panel.
