Windows 10: Powershell turning on by itself frequently with error message

Hello.I don't know if I should be worried or not, but lately I'm getting powershell.exe opening by itself with the following message: Exception calling "Load" with "1" arguments: "Could not load file or assembly '1804968 bytes loaded from AnonymouslyHosted DynamicMethods Assembly, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format."At line:1 char:1+ [System.Reflection.Assembly]::Load[System.Convert]::FromBase64String ...+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + C

How to change the WinX menu, including Powershell/Powershell (Admin)

This part intrigues me. As suggested earler, please post a screenshot of the error message. Also, please clarify/test the follwoing:

1. Can you start PowerShell from the Start Menu?
2. If you navigate to %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\WinX\Group3, does PowerShell launch from the shortcuts there?
3. If #1 works & #2 doesn't, compare (& post) the target text from each shortcuts properties. For the Start Menu shortcut, right-click & select Open file location to navigate to the Start Menu folder.

How to stop frequently recurring Script Error messages?

My apologies. I did miss that. Have you been back into Advanced Settings to see if the settings stuck? Should have checked two items and unchecked one. as in.....





I'm sure you have, just covering the bases. I've never seen it not work but then Windows 10 is kind of a new animal. If all three items are showing their desired state my only other suggestion would be to hit the lower right "Reset" button and try again. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than myself will have another suggestion.

 

Windows Update Error Message 0x80070543


Ya Ya Ya, there's over a hundred threads like this, ...

Anyway, started getting this error message a few days ago, and done a lot of searching on this error message, apparently it's not, uncommon.

In particular, the (currently) 4 updates that are being affected are:

• Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3173428) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3172729) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3174060) - Error 0x80070543
• Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3176493) - Error 0x80070543

The actions I've taken to date are:

1. Uninstalled firewall program (comodo)
2. Uninstalled anti-virus (Avast)
3. Reset the windows update catalog on local machine.

So the above errors are with the above done.

What other steps should I be taking to resolve the issue?
