Windows 10: PowerToys: How to install only a single Toy?

Hi,

I'm hoping somebody can help refresh my memory on how I did something in the past. I'd previously installed the PowerRename PowerToy on my machine (and it's still installed.) I wanted to install another of the PowerToys (Run) as well, but after browsing the github repo and experimenting, I cannot figure out a way to install only a specific tool by itself. Perhaps the way the tools are distributed has changed? I can only find the option to install everything as one PowerToys program.

I know installing individual features must be possible, as I clearly did it at one point in time: PowerRename is perpetually in my Explorer context menu! Is there a way, or do they no longer support doing this? Or perhaps it's only available for specific tools?

Any help is much appreciated!

If this is a specific problem with your system try to install version 18 again.

This is the latest v18 build:

Potential problem with new Power Toys App

Yes indeed, this version of PowerToys bears little resemblance to the old XP set of utilities. To misquote an old proverb "Install in haste, repent at leisure!". Geek Uninstaller would have been my next step if System Restore hadn't worked its magic, then restore from a Casper image if that was unsuccessful.
