  1. Precision Touchpad: Can't turn off special features on touchpad, I only want cursor movement

I'm using a MSI GL72M 7RDX laptop which has real right/left click buttons. How can I turn off all touchpad taps, swipes, etc. and only move the cursor with it?

I've upgraded BIOS, installed the latest touchpad driver from MSI. Taps wasn't even an option with MSI driver. So, I installed the Precision touchpad driver from Microsoft and then I have lots of options. I have unchecked all tap checkboxes, unchecked all the pinches, swipes, and drags, and selected "Nothing" in all the gesture pull-downs. All of these are ignored. The touchpad still taps, selects stuff randomly selects stuff, moves cursor as long as finger is on touchpad, etc.

Extremely frustrating to use it. Is there anything else I can do to turn all the fancy stuff off on the Touchpad? I just want it to move the cursor.

    :)

  2. Windows Precision Touchpad - Cursor Jumps on Click!?

I recently bought a new laptop with a touchpad that uses Windows precision drivers. It drives me mad to no end that sometimes when I move the pointer slightly to hover over and object, then click, the cursor jumps back to where it was before I moved it.

I can only assume this is some sort of feature of the WPD to prevent accidental movement of the cursor when clicking, but I'm very precise with my cursor movements and this feature makes my touchpad 1000 times harder to use. Is there any way to turn it off?

Disable Precision touchpad blocking quick movements during keypress

When a key is pressed on a Precision touchpad on my Dell XPS 13, it blocks quick touchpad movements - and slower touchpad movements are blocked during the first fraction of a second. This makes playing any game requiring mouse movement like an FPS nearly unplayable. How can I remove this 'feature'?

    Precision Touchpad Feature

In file explorer, using a precision touchpad, when I set a single finger on the touchpad and don't move it, a large circle appears. Then when I move my finger, in different directions, I can navigate around file explorer. How do I disable this feature?
