Windows 10: Prefer Band Property disappeared

This is kind of a network issue, kind of a driver issue. My ping keeps spiking every ten seconds or so playing games, and for some reason it has to do with my 2.4GHz wifi. I had this issue before, and I was able to prefer 5GHz and the problem went away. The issue is back, and now for some reason the Prefer Band setting in my Wifi driver is gone! The driver is up to date. There was a windows update a couple weeks ago, and that's when the problem came back. I can't solve it on the 2.4 and when I asked Xfinity they basically said "sucks lol." Band Preference missing in Wi-Fi adapter propertie.

TP-Link AC1300 Wireless Dual Band, it uses a PCie port. Im also now noticing it's listed with Dual Band but in my WiFi settings it says it's not dual band,

Drivers are up to date, System is up to date. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the device a couple of times.

Your WiFi adapter probably doesn't have a Band Preference option or you may need to update your drivers. Contact TP-Link Support or check their website for updated drivers for your WiFi adapter model.

If there are no devices using the 2.4 GHz network on your home network, access the router's WiFi Settings page and disable the 2.4 GHz band. This way the router will only work on the 5 GHz band.
