Windows 10: Preparing automatic repair - Blackscreen afterwards

Hi, I am new to this sub but it is really one of my last resorts right now. So, I had a really large folder (can't remember the size but it was BIG) and so I tried deleting it, which did not go to plan. My PC froze completely and I couldn't do anything for a while until I decided to shut it off by holding the power button. Once I tried turning it back on though, the windows logo showed up with that circle dot thing and it just went on forever.

I tried everything. Repeatedly shut it off and on to force it into automatic repair mode but once it went like: "Preparing automatic repair" it turned into a black screen and all I could see was a giant cursor which I could move. Tried this a bunch of times only to have the same result. Ctrl Alt Delete and all that other stuff did nothing. No "Diagnosing your PC" no nothing.

I also tried Hard Shutting it 2 times and turning it back on but this also did nothing. Same blackscreen, same loop, same everything.

Please If someone knows what to do or knows what has happened exactly, let me know and I'll be forever grateful. I have very important stuff in my hard drive which I do NOT want to lose. Also, the stuff that I tried deleting had nothing to do with the system itself, they were useless data that I had kept from a game.

Preparing Automatic Repair/Diagnosing Your PC Loop

Hi,

To resolve your concern with continuously looping your system, we suggest that you follow the Startup Repair steps below:

• Turn off your computer.
• Turn on your computer. As soon as you see the Windows logo with the spinning dots, press and hold down the power button until your computer turns off. Do this process
  twice.
• Turn on your computer for the third time, and let it load.
• It should give you the message: Preparing Automatic Repair.
• On the next screen that would appear, click on Advanced Options.
• Select Troubleshoot.
• Go to Advanced Options.
• Click on Startup Repair.
• Wait for the repair to finish.
