  1. Preserve virtual desktops AND open applications on reboot

    Currently on v2004

Currently have "Sign-in options --> Restart apps" on, but all my apps restarted on virtual desktop 1 even if some of them were on virtual desktop 2 when I rebooted

How do I get Windows to preserve the app/VD relationship upon reboot so I don't have to drag apps back to VD2 upon reboot

Save / Preserve Virtual Desktops from day to day?

Can Virtual Desktops be saved from session to session?

Can I recall today´s Virtual Desktops with all their windows, documents, and open applications when I restart the computer tomorrow? Can the session and the Desktops be saved before shutting down the computer?

Will Virtual Desktops be preserved if the computer is put in sleep mode (instead of shutting down) until the next day?

    Hello,

Thank you for keeping us updated.

Try the following steps to move applications between virtual desktops.

    • Right-click on the program you want to move.

    • Select “Move to”, and then select the desktop number to which you want to move the program.
You can also, drag and drop the app of your choice to the desktop you want to add.

    Hope it helps.

  4. Preserve virtual desktops AND open applications on reboot

Moving a running application to a different virtual desktop

To change a application from one Virtual Desktop to another you need to:

    • Press Windows Key+Tab key on the desktop in which is running the application you want to move.
    • Drag the application to the desktop you want to transfer. To transfer you need to put the app on the desktop that are showen below.
    And the application is moved.
