Windows 10: Press Shift Key to turn off Caps Lock

In Windows 7 there was a Keyboard tab that let you use the Shift key to turn off Caps Lock, it seems to be missing in Windows 10.

Anyone know how to set this?

Disable Caps Lock on Windows 10?

The below does not disable CAPS LOCK; instead it converts CAPS LOCK into SHIFT LOCK.

• Right-click Start
• Choose Control Panel.
  
• Under Clock, Language and Region, choose
  Change input methods.
• On the left, choose
  Advanced Settings.
• Near the bottom, click on
  Change language bar hot keys (this is a blue link)
• On the Advanced Key Settings tab, select Press the Shift key
  radio button.
• Click OK, then Save

After this change:

• You press the CAPS LOCK key puts the keyboard in all-caps mode
• You press the SHIFT key to turn off CAPS LOCK and exit all-caps mode.
  • Note that pressing CAPS LOCK again
    will not turn off CAPS LOCK; only by pressing either SHIFT key will CAPS LOCK turn off.

This is similar behavior to how the SHIFT LOCK key works on typewriters.

 

E90 Auto Caps and CAPS lock

Hi guys

There seems to be some strange modes that you can get by pressing both shift keys, or Chr Shift, but I haven't worked them all out yet.

Sometimes I get CAPS lock when I press both shift keys, but not always. Once I manage to get caps lock, I can turn it on and off by pressing both shift keys, but it seems difficult to get it to turn on the first time. It also gets turned off automatically at
the start of a line.

Has anyone worked out how to turn off the auto-caps feature? I would really like to. Is it possible to download some software to do it?
