Windows 10: Prevent Windows update after power outage

Hi,I'm a hardware engineer and many of my systems are controlled by Windows computers, which download updates that are installed after a reboot. In the event of a power failure these systems, when power is restored, tend to all start installing these updates which is roughly the worst possible moment for this to happen, as it results in additional downtime. That is why I'm searching an answer to the following question:If a computer is turned off by a power failure not a proper shutdown, is there a setting that will prevent windows from installing updates, deferring these updates to a later

• Which browser are you using to check the passwords and favorites section? Provide the list of browsers where you encountered the concern.
• Have you tried using another account to verify if the programs are still missing on your program list?

There is a possibility that the drive index has been corrupted. We highly suggest that you check your hard drive and scan for errors by following these steps:

• Open This PC on File Explorer and locate your hard drive.
• Right-click and choose Properties.
• Under Tools tab, click on Check Now button.

After scanning the hard drive, hidden files and folders, as well as lost data can be restored.

Power Outage Today

Our power company scheduled an outage today and I was planning on making sure the pc would be off but I forgot. When the outage was over and power was restored the pc started by itself. Is there a way to prevent this? I want the pc not to start when this happens and want to start it manually. -thx
