Windows 10: Preventing creation of System Volume Information

Hi all,

I need help how to prevent Windows 10 Pro 1909 (18363.535) creating the System Volume Information on removable drive (CF Card).
I have CF Cards with installed Win Embedded with two partitions:
- first is System
- second is software
Usually on Windows 7, was opened just the second partition when is installed software and we can modify just the needed files. On this drive is not a problem if System Volume Information is created.
But now in Windows 10, they open booth drives the first where is the system and the second where is the software.
On both partitions Windows 10 create the folder System Volume Information.
Now the problem is in the first partition, because when Windows create the System Volume Information, they change the SHA code of the first partition.
Software at the beginning check the SHA code and if is not right give error and not start the machine.

How can I prevent that Windows create the System Volume Information?
Or that Windows 10 not open the first partition, just the second like in Windows 7 ?

Please help if anybody have a solution.

Windows 10 Creators Update: Prevent creation of "System Volume Information"

In Windows 10 Anniversary Update I was able to prevent creation of the "System Volume Information" folder by editing GPEDIT and Services. In GPEDIT I set "Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Search >
Do not allow locations on removable drives to be added to libraries" to Enabled. In
Services I set Windows Search to Disabled. Combined, these two setting in Anniversary Update prevented creation of the "System Volume Information" folder on USB flash drives whenever I inserted one. This is not working in Creators
Update. Since updating to it, even though these two settings are set as described, Windows still insists on creating this folder. This behavior is inconvenient at best, and extremely annoying and bothersome otherwise. Taking ownership and deleting this folder
is not exactly a user-friendly process. USB drives normally don't need this folder, especially if they are being used to store music files for play in MP3 players or automotive sound systems. This is doubly true if the MP3 files are stored in folders by artist,
as one then has a folder named "System Volume Information" that contains no music files. Is there any way to prevent creation of "System Volume Information" for USB flash drives in Windows 10 Creators Update?

Whenever I plug in a USB flash drive, Windows 10 insists on creating the folder "System Volume Information." I really don't need this for a USB flash drive, especially if I'm planning on using this in my car's sound system, which is organized by artist as each folder's name. If I Google the title of this question, I get several hits, most of which are nearly identical to the one on The Windows Club. In Windows 10 AU this doesn't work, as another step is necessary, though it's my understanding it does in Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1. I'm unable to verify first hand.

I don't know how, but the solution I originally posted to prevent creation of "Volume System Information" on USB flash drives is working again. I guess this thread may be closed. The settings in Group Edit and Windows Services > Windows Search seemed
to have started to work properly again after I reestablished the c:\users > d:\users junction I had before making the Creators Update upgrade. My guess is that Windows couldn't find some of the registry settings that are stored in the %userprofile% path.
