Windows 10: Prevention from shutting down the laptop

I recently faced an issue regarding the prevention of the laptop from shutting down it said 'task host window preventing the pc from shutting down and then says to go back and save anything which was not saved' so instead of cancelling and checking why was the issue occurring I clicked shutdown anyway so I want to ask is there any issue and can it cause trouble or problem to my laptop if I did that "shutdown anyway" and do it anywhere in future.

Laptop won't shut down

Most of the time, the issue regarding a device that won't shut down properly may be caused by a system conflict after an update or that there are some incompatibility issues. To assist you with this concern, we recommend that you run the troubleshooter.
To do this, kindly follow the steps listed below:

• Type troubleshooting in the Search bar and press

• Windows Update
