Windows 10: Preview Update KB4580419 - Mouse Cursor Latency

I just got force fed another Preview Update, KB4580419. I ran the System File Checker and no issues were detected. At first, I thought it would be OK. Then, I started to notice my mouse cursor was behaving as if it had an annoying latency.

After I confirmed to myself that the mouse cursor definitely had issues, I removed the update, rebooted and the mouse cursor was normal.

This is the fifth Preview Update that I've been force fed since 1 August. I'm not enrolled in the Microsoft Insider Program, and these Preview Updates were not optional updates.

I've paused updates for 7 days.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm going to report it to Microsoft, but I wanted to check in here first to see if I'm the only one.

I don't think Microsoft should be force feeding Preview Updates. They aren't fully tested. All Preview Updates should be optional.

No mouse cursor

Hi,

It is possible that the system did not recognize the mouse of your computer after it booted up. This can be the reason why you do not see the mouse cursor. Kindly perform a power cycle to refresh the power of the computer. To do this, follow these steps:

• Shutdown the computer.
• After shutting it down, remove the battery (if you're using a laptop) and disconnect the computer from the charger.
  
• Wait for 1 minute.
• After 1 minute, attach the battery and turn on the computer.
• Check if you will see the mouse cursor.
