Windows 10: Print and battery issues in Windows 10

I am having technical issues with Windows 10. I had an older operating system on my laptop, I believe it was Windows 7. Did the free Windows 10 upgrade a few years ago, and didn't seem to have any issues for a while.

About a year ago, my battery stopped staying charged, and my laptop will only work if it is plugged in. Now, I cannot print anything from my computer. I get a message that says, "Windows is unable to print due to current printer setup."

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer.

I have cleared the spooler.

I have checked for driver updates.

I have checked for Windows updates.

I have restarted my computer several times.

I have tried both hard wire and wireless connections with my printer.

I am frustrated and have no idea what else to do.

My laptop and printer are not very old, so that should not be an issue.

So, someone please help me with my battery situation and printer situation.

Printing issues

  Have you tried printing from a different application and checked?
  

I suggest you to run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.
Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Printer.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Also, I suggest you to install the latest chipset and printer drivers from manufacturer website and check if it fixes the issue.

Printing Batteries

By making the basic building blocks of batteries out of ink, Harvard materials scientist Jennifer Lewis is laying the groundwork for lithium-ion batteries and other high-performing electronics that can be produced with 3-D printers.

Although the technology is still at an early stage, the ability to print batteries and other electronics could make it possible to manufacture new kinds of devices. Think of self-powered biomedical sensors, affixed to the skin, that would continuously transmit vital signs to a smartphone. Or existing products could be made more simply and efficiently.

For example, the plastic shell of a hearing aid is already 3-D printed for a custom fit inside a wearer’s ear. But the electronics are manufactured separately, and the batteries are often the type that must be replaced frequently. If the electronics and a rechargeable battery were printed together, the final product could be made more rapidly and seamlessly.

Printing a photo on windows 10

You can use Windows Photo App to print the photos in windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key and type Photos.
• Select the photo.
• Right click on the photo.
• Select print option.
• Then you will be able to print photos.
