Windows 10: Print Preview issue

Under the Printer Settings for my HP printer, I used to be able to keep Print Preview turned on (permentently), and then it would show me a preview (no matter what program I was printing from) once I pressed the print button, but before it came out of the printer. It wasn't just in Microsoft programs, it was from any e-mail, picture, website, or any other program. I found directions on the HP website for how to add an update driver, but the directions don't quite work with my Windows 10 computer (it turned out, they were directions for Windows 7). I was told on the phone by HP support staff that this is a Microsoft issue, not an HP driver issue. Is there a driver (or whatever) that I can download so that I see the print preview on my Windows 10 computer like I used to?

• When did the issue start?
• Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
• What is the OS Build of your Windows 10? To know the build of your Windows 10, follow these steps:
  • Click the Windows logo (Start button).
  • Click the gear icon (Settings).
  • Select System.
  • On the left pane, choose About.
• What is the model of the printer that you're using?
• Does the issue occur on all of your images that you're attempting to print?
• Have you checked if the Print Preview window will appear if you will print the image using the
  Share tab in File Explorer? To print an image using the Share tab, follow these steps:
  • Access File Explorer.
  • Navigate to your picture files, and then highlight one file.
  • Click the Share tab at the top of File Explorer.
  • In the Send group, choose Print.
• What are the troubleshooting steps that you've done so far?

To assist you better I would appreciate if you could answer the following question:

1. Are you unable to print any documents?

2. What is the exact issue you are facing?

To see what the print copy will look like before you print it, open the document in a program that offers a print preview. Print preview is typically located on the File menu for a program. You should be able to preview
each page of the document. In some programs, you can choose print options in the preview mode, and then print directly from the preview. In other programs, you might have to close the preview, change the document or your printer settings, and then print it.

Arrange all your stuff, and press Old method
Ctrl + P keys shortcut. This shortcut will call the available list of all devices on the right- hand of the screen chooses the choice by scrolling up and down.

While printing, you will come in the center of maximum options which can be use for the printing option. So arrange all your stuff, choose some preferences and go with the Print Button.

I suggest you to run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.
Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Printer.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Also, I suggest you to install the latest chipset and printer drivers from manufacturer website and check if it fixes the issue.
