Windows 10: Printer error 0x000007d1, The specified driver is invalid for Epson WF-2630 after Win 10...

Hi, I have upgraded to Windows 10 pro 1909 my printer has stopped working. I keep getting error

Printer error 0x000007d1, The specified driver is invalid


1 I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for the printer to no avail.

2 Tried to edit register and look for the below which I could not find


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\PostSPUpgrade


Please advise if anyone has any other suggestions

epson printer wf-2540 shows specified printer invalid

My Epson WF-2540 stopped printing, but can still scan (???) from my laptop. However, the printer won't print saying "The specified driver is invalid". Ive tried Epson website to uninstall and reinstall software with no luck. HELP??

Didn't work on "fix printer" and that stuff about changing to Windows 10 from S mode etc, I am not doing as I am sure it doesn't work either. The driver showing in the device manager earlier said from 2006... The printer driver on Epson website shows:

Printer Driver v1.54

• 23.71 MB
• epson16471.exe

It won't upload to my computer either. This is very frustrating as I have always been able to print. Another laptop can print....., but this is mine that I need to use.

 

Error 0x000007d1

I've reinstalled the printer, using the steps above. I still get the same error:

Operation could not be completed (error 0x000007d1).

The specified driver is invalid.
