Windows 10: printer help epson dx8400 not recognized by windows 10

hi I have recently took the free upgrade to windows 10 from windows 8 how ever now my Epson dx8400 all in one printer will not be recognized by 10 worked fine on 8 just plugged usb in and set up automatically 10 wont pick up at all ive downloaded driver update just not having any of it can any one help it says epson driver update then stops and says an error occured?

Windows 10 Phone, printing with Epson XP-600 series

On a list of printers that are supported on Windows 10 Mobile I can see Epson XP-620, Epson XP-621, Epson XP-625 or Epson XP-630. My Epson XP-610 is not listed and it's not recognized by my Lumia. How it's possible? All these printers are of 600 series,
and all of them use the same driver for Windows 7, 8.x and 10 (PC). Differences among versions are minor. Was XP-610 simply overlooked? Forgotten? Or are there any higher arguments against recognizing XP-610 printer in WP 10 that I don't understand?

Are those the ones that you tried? Did you run them as Administrator?

 

Yes they are what I tried downloaded then click to setup started then said error. What do you mean as administrater thanks

 

Right click on the executable, then select "Run as Administrator".

Another option is to use the "troubleshoot compatibility" in the same right-click menu. That would allow you to run the installer in a mode that is compatible with an older version of Windows (say, 7). I've had that work, rarely.
