Printer icon in control panel cannot be deleted via Win32 API DeletePrinter on Windows 10.

I'm trying to delete the printer from Windows program via Win32 API DeletePrinter, and it seems the printer Key has been deleted from registry"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers', use DeletePrinterDriverEx to delete printer driver, and the printer driver key has been deleted from registry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Drivers\Version-3", but only printer icon left in the "Control Panel - Devices and Printers". 2. DeletePrinter not working properly in recent builds of Windows 10

The issue is summarized as follows:

    1. Deleting a printer from the printer settings dialog using the “Remove device” button, removes the printer from the printer list in (Print Management) as well as from the printer settings dialog.

    2. Deleting a printer from the Windows Print Management dialog, removes the printer from operating system in all places except the printer settings dialog. Where it is listed as “Driver is unavailable”.

    3. Using the Print Spoolers DeletePrinter api function, removes the printer from operating system in all places except the printer settings dialog. Where it is listed as “Driver
is unavailable”. This is the method used when uninstalling printers and drivers from a Windows operating system.

Items 2 and 3 above, leave the printer instance artifact in the printer settings dialog, with a comment of “Driver is unavailable”.

How do I notify the Windows Settings>> Printers & Scanners list that the printer is removed/deleted and to remove it from the list?
