    Hello,


    I have two older computers and an older Brother MFC printer. I purchased a new Brother MFC-L5900 and tried to install the software, however, it was not compatible with Window 7. So I then install Windows 10 to both computers. I also went to the Brother website and install the print driver to both computer. I was able to get one of the computers to print but the other wont let me print. I did a wireless setup for the printer, but keep getting an error message every time I print. I run the diagnostic tool and it finds nothing. The computer recognizes the printer but it wont let me print a test page. Any Idea anyone.

    Brother MFC J825DW Printer is Offline


    Dangit, Microsoft has messed up my printers once again!

    My Brother MFC J825DW (Inkjet) printer won't print because Windows has set it to offline!

    My Brother MFC 7460DN (Laser) printer just trucks right along.

    Anybody know how I can get my Inkjet Brother back online?

    I have the same problem with a Brother MFC-J835DW. Neither of the above suggestions solved the problem.

    The printer worked with Windows 10 for several weeks. Today, Windows 10 says the printer is offline. The printer is turned on, connected to the network, and responds to a ping from the Windows 10 computer. But Windows 10 still thinks the printer is "offline".

    Windows printer troubleshooter was useless. It would only suggest that I turn the printer on.

    I tried to remove and uninstall the printer but Windows 10 became non-responsive and would not delete the printer.

    Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
