Windows 10: Printer stopped working after Windows update.

Dear Support Team, My Pantum Printer P2500 W stopped working after the windows update. It gives error that Spooler services has stopped working, i started the spooler services the several times but in vain. When i try to add manual port than no Port shows in the list. Please help. Updates installed on 2nd Septmber,20242024-08 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5041587 , 2024-08 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 KB5042099 Many Thanks

To be sure that you followed my suggestion correctly, I will specify some steps: CP>devices and printers>add a printer>the printer that I want isn't listed>add a local printer with manual settings>define port>Windows update and install

 

printer stopped working after Windows update

After auto update of Windows (Windows 10S?) my printer stopped working. Still no joy after several uninstalls and reinstalls of the printer driver. Suggestions?

 

Snagit printer stopped working

Hello everyone. I'm trying to help someone whose Snagit printer stopped working. It stopped working when Snagit was updated from version 21.4.2 to version 24.0.1.555. It's a Windows 11 laptop, Version 22H2. He's trying to print from a document, like a PDF file, to Snagit. The Snagit 2024 printer is on the printer list and you can select it, and it looks like it's going to work except nothing happens. Usually it would pop up in the the Snagit editor. I even went to Printers & scanners in the Windows settings and tried a test page from the Snagit 2024 printer listed in there. You can see it appear in the print queue and then it disappears. We tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the software and that didn't help. I'm not sure what else to do. I attached a screenshot that kind of shows what we're trying to do. Thanks
