    printer works with some programs but not others


    Brother mfc-8440 will print from wordpad but not from reader
    Just says cannot print and says "error"
    Printer works with Excel, Word but the reader is Windows 10 "Edge"

    Do you face issue with Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge?

    Install all pending Windows updates. Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.



    I would recommend you to check for latest Windows Updates. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. If you have any pending updates remaining to install, kindly install them and check if it helps.



    If the issue is specific to Chrome then contact

    Google Chrome works sometimes but not others on Windows 10

    I have a new Dell Inspiron that came with Windows 10 installed. Periodically I can't get Google Chrome to load. Sometimes it works, sometimes not and it's becoming quite annoying. I've read that sometimes it needs to be re-installed but others who have
    done that claim the same problem reoccurs. Is this a problem with Windows 10 - if so - what do I do? If it's a problem with Google Chrome - same question. Thanks for your assistance.
