Windows 10: Printers can't be found wirelessly

I have a brother printer and it always worked well wirelessly in the house. Any other computer all windows 10 could easily print from anywhere to it. A couple weeks ago it could no longer be "found". To get it to work I have had to connect it with usb to my main computer which is a huge hassle that it can't be used by other devices. I went ahead and bought another brother printer and it is having the same issue. Both printers are connected to the router and are wireless, but computers don't seem to locate them.

I received a printer from someone that I am trying to wirelessly add to network but it doesn't show up on the available list of things I can add, even when I try and refresh the list. So what is the next step?

Error 45 usually occurs if the device that was previously connected to your computer is no longer connected. For us to isolate your concern, please answer the following questions:

• How is your printer connected to your computer (i.e., via Bluetooth, WiFi, router)?
• Have you tried connecting a different computer to your printer? If not, kindly do so and update us with the result.

As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest that you run the troubleshooter for devices and hardware and see if it helps.

If the troubleshooter did not resolve the issue, we suggest that you update the driver of your printer directly from the manufacturer's website. After ensuring that the correct driver is installed, check if the printer is recognized in the Device Manager.

If the issue persists, try reconnecting the hardware device to your computer.
