Windows 10: Printers dont show in Windows 10

I am installing network printers on Windows 10. I have installed the drivers. I have successfully added the printers through the settings. I need to be able to add in user and password information (for color copies) and the printers do not show in the installed devices. I can see them in Word and I can see every instance of those printers where I have attempted to add the devices multiple times. I have to get into the properties but the printers are nowhere to be found.

As you have mention on your post that you have successfully installed the drivers and you are not able to find the printer to get to its settings, follow the steps below to find the installed printers devices.



Steps:

1. 1. Press Windows + R key on your keyboard together, type control printers and hit enter.
      
   2. On the Devices and Printers Window, find your printer name under printers tab.
      
   3. You can right click and get to the printer properties.
      
   4. If you don’t see your printer name, click on
      Add a Printer.
      
   5. It will search for the printers connected to the computer, make sure the printer is powered ON and connected to the system.
      
   6. Click on the printer once it is loaded and follow the on screen instructions.
      

Try this steps above and check if it helps, if you still face the issue, please reply to this post with the questions below.

1: Do you get any error message?

2: Is your system connected to a domain network?

3: Did you download the driver from manufacturer's website?

Card Printer not showing in Windows 10

Hi Fahd,

I understand that the printer device is not visible to print in Windows. We will help you.

This issue might have caused due to incompatibility of the drivers of printer.

Lets try with some steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Printer troubleshooter
after connecting the printer.

• Press the ‘Start’ Button.
• Type Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting and press
  Enter.
• Click on view all on the left side and select
  Printer.
• Click next and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I also suggest you to click on the below link to refer how to Uninstall, reinstall in Compatibility mode and check if it helps.

• How is the printer connected to the computer, locally or through network?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue?

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the drivers for printer and check.

• 
  Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate and expand Print queue.
  
• 
  Right-click on the printer driver
  that is listed and click Update driver software.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to run the printer troubleshooter from
“Fix printer problems”
and then check if this fixes the issue.
