Though I was thinking, when printing on items like this shouldnt it not print the scroll bar and what not as it is supposed to print 'the desired frame' on screen per say a website with a 'print friendly version' you go to print and it will print the page without the left navigation bars and would just print main important data. Well put it this way the sites i print from used to do that now it prints the page with nav and the scroll bars rather than selecting the 'important frame' that the website tells it to print.

    Im confused. :/

Well, I don't know about Edge, but in Internet Explorer and Firefox, you can go to Print Preview. There you can select "as layout on screen" or "as selected on screen", in case you have selected a section with the mouse. The "as selected on screen" prints only the desired content on page at a readable size, while the "as layout on screen" tries to fit everything and often the text is too small.

What about the "More options" in Edge? I didn't click it to see what exactly it does, but maybe it helps in your case.

  3. I use Edge and you can set your printer how you want.
    I use it this way
    More Actions
    Then Print
    Which brings up my printer
There it shows the pages as there can be more than 1
I then select what page I want to print
    Then press Print
It prints the page I want as set out on the Preview Print page.
Hope that helps regarding Edge Browser

Mine is set to Shrink To Fit
    Margins set as Normal

It does show the preview and prints as preview shows but the page will not shrink to fit onto the page unless i put it at 50% which is tiny. There has to be a setting there some-where some-how..

  5. I do not set the shrink to page
I just check and make sure it is what I want, if it is not then I go into my printer settings.
But have not ever had to do that since downloading the software from the disc, which had the settings on them.

In case you missed it, I repeat it again. There are different page layouts when printing a web site. One of them is to print whatever you see on screen (in IE it is called "as layout on screen"). Another possibility is to print the current frame (depending on browser) and another to print only what you have selected with the mouse ("as selected on screen"). If the print job is the first option, that is tries to fit whatever is on screen at the page, almost always it is printed too small. If you set scale at 100% but again try to print everything, chances are that the printout will be cropped and unfortunately the crop is not what we want, but it tends to start from top left of the screen. The only way to make sure that you print exactly what you want at the correct size is to select it with the mouse and then set scale to 100%. Assuming the margins are not too large, it will fit the page and look nice. Sometimes you may have to switch from portrait to landscape layout to make your selection fit the page at 100%. Other times I have good results when printing at 80% or 90%.

Printing is oversized, live mail, edge.

In Internet Explorer File->Print Preview (assuming you have enabled the menus). To enable the menus right click on the windows title and click on Menu bar.

In Microsoft Edge, click the ... button top right and select Print. It shows a preview before printing the page. Couldn't find how to print selection only, so forget Edge, try that in IE.

Yeah i can get the print preview but not seeing the tab or setting i seen before that had the frame layouts. It might have been with the Ricoh driver that i installed but wouldn't print to IE or Email but would print everything else which still don't make since. That driver had a lot of settings that might have allowed me to print the way it is supposed to.

Haven't used Edge, just one-two times to see it, so I don't know all the tricks. But why bother with it anyway? If it doesn't work the way you want, just use IE or Firefox. I use IE and it works just like in Windows 7 and 8.1

Which mailing program are you using? Could you install another free mailing program and setup your e-mail there? You could install Windows Essentials and use Windows Live Mail.

There are free e-mail applications such as incredimail. Maybe you could try one of these. If you have Microsoft Outlook, you could try that as well.
