Windows 10: Printing pdf or photos, from default apps issue

Hi,


I've come across an issue that I cannot seem to find a resolution to. When printing from Windows 10 default pdf Edge and photo viewer, if you increase the copy numbers, they will jump around. I've been researching it but I have yet to find an answer and I hope someone here will have one. If I change the default pdf viewer to Adobe Reader, there is no issue. Same if I change the default photo viewer to irfran view. Anyone have any solutions?

Print to PDF missing in Printer List

Hi William,

We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
• Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
• On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
  OK to save changes.
• Restart your PC.
• Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.

PDF won't print

A software conflict is one of the possible reasons why you're unable to print PDF files. Since you've mentioned that you're able to print other files, it's possible that the PDF reader app that you're using is outdated or corrupted. We'd like to know a few
things so we can better address your concern.

• Have you made any changes prior to the issue?
• Are you getting any error messages when trying to print PDF files?
• How are you trying to print PDF files?
  
• What's the default printer set up on your computer?
  

In the meantime, for us to troubleshoot your printing issue, we suggest updating the PDF reader app that you're using. We also suggest updating your printer driver. To so do, refer to the steps provided on this
link. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try checking for one on your device manufacturer's website.

Make Photo Moto default photo app?

Sorry to know that the issue persists. I suggest you to search for it in Search and pin it to Start Menu.

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Go to search and type Photo Moto app. Right-click on it to pin it to Start menu.
• Go to Search. Type Settings. Click on it open.
• Click on System. Click on Default apps. Then follow the instructions from the link below to set Photo Moto as default app for Photos.

Choose the apps Windows uses by default:
