  2. Airplane mode switch not working

    Since the troubleshooting steps that were provided did not resolve the issue, we suggest switching on the Radio Management Service. To do that, please follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R.
    • Type services.msc, then hit Enter.
    • Search for Radio Management Service.
    • Right-click, then choose Start.

    Note: Never ever set this service to "Disabled".

    Get back to us if the steps won't work.

    I am having trouble switching my laptop out of S Mode. I went through the steps that are listed, and the Windows Store is updated and it won't let me click Get when you go to the screen to switch out of S mode.

    Thank you for keeping us updated.

    I would suggest you to try the steps mentioned below and see if you’re able to print webpages and emails without having any problem.



    Method 1: To select “Print directly to the printer” in the printer properties.

    a. Click on Start; Click on Control Panel.

    b. Switch to Classic View.

    c. Click on Printer.

    d. Right click on the printer listed and click on Properties.

    e. Switch to Advanced tab and then check “Print directly to the printer”

    f. Click on Ok to save changes.



    Now try to print webpage or emails. You should be able to print.

    Note: The steps mentioned above will bypass the spooling service. You’ll be able to print expect that you may face some quality problem when printing high end graphics. Spooling process is the best for quality.

    If the issue persists, follow the next method.

    Method 2

    I suggest you to try printing after disabling Protected Mode. Please follow the steps below:

    1. Click Tools while Internet Explorer is open.

    2. Click Internet Options.

    3. Under Security section, Disable Protected Mode.

    4. Save the changes by clicking Apply and OK.
