Windows 10: Printshop 2.0 Not printing

Hi, I have Printshop 2.0 deluxe. Opens the files fine, but when clicking Print or Print preview, it throws an error and shuts down. I have tried running it in different modes, W7, 8, XP, etc, no luck. this is the code that I can see . at System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException.ThrowExceptionString message, Exception innerException, Int32 lineNumber, Int32 linePosition, Uri baseUri, XamlObjectIds currentXamlObjectIds, XamlObjectIds contextXamlObjectIds, Type objectType at System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException.ThrowExceptionParserContext parserContext, Int32 lineNumber, Int32 line

Printshop Deluxe version 20 and windows 10

Before proceeding further, I suggest you to check the compatibility of Printshop Deluxe in Windows 10.

If it is compatible, follow the below method.

Method 1: Compatibility mode

I would suggest you to install the latest available drivers on manufacturer's website in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Printshop Deluxe 23.1 is not working on Windows 10.

To make The print shop 23 work with Windows 10:

First Uninstall The Printshop.

Next uninstall net framework 1.1.

Run "regedit and remove all instance of printshop.

Reboot

Install net framework 1.1 from Microsoft.

Reboot

Install The Printshop 23 in its entirety to the hard drive.

Reboot and enjoy

Intel Updates Core 2 Quad Q9550 to E-0 Stepping

We continue our Monday news list with another Intel story that brings to our attention information concerning the company and more specificly its 2.83GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 chips that will move from the current C-1 to the newer E-0 stepping. The updated chips will start selling on August 22nd, featuring the following changes:

• New SSpec and MM numbers for the converting products
• CPUID will change from 0x10677 to 0x1067A
• Package change to Halide free package

Apart from that, the new stepping CPUs will not include any other changes. Of course, like most new stepping parts a BIOS update will be needed.
